Ecobuilding involves a series of solutions involving four areas of activity which, combined, reach high standards of eco sustainability.

Energy efficiency

The energy performance corresponds to the amount of energy consumed by a building each year in order to satisfy the building’s typical needs. Ecobuilding provides for top level environmental performance through solutions that include “external insulation”, green roofs , special and controlled ventilation.

Eco - friendly materials

Particular attention is paid to the selection of materials with a low impact on the environment and individual  well being during  every life cycle phase - from the extraction of the raw materials to what sort of energy was used to produce them, through the final processing and dismissing - namely materials which are  natural and renewable, recycled and recyclable.

Renewable resources

A more extensive use of energy from renewable resources is the objective of Ecobuilding’s choice to use innovative, efficient construction techniques, solar and photovoltaic systems, geothermal panels for heating and cooling, cogeneration plants and rain water harvesting systems.

Living comfort

The best eco-sustainable solutions include a search for comfort and quality living. Technological choices designed to ensure ideal temperatures,  acoustic and visual comfort which include innovative heating and cooling systems, isolation solutions for exterior and interior walls and natural light – piping systems.  Ecobuilding also improves the quality of the living space through the careful planning of the green zones and outdoor areas.
